Au aloha ko'u 'ohana me ka 'ailana a Kona!

I love my family with the island of Kona! That's the closest I could come to saying I love my family and the island of Kona! Danny and I had a great relaxing time in Kona with my parents, brother and nephew. We wish that Ron and the girls were there with us, but Ron and Lindsay had work committments and McKenna had a dance workshop she is very glad she didn't miss. I missed the rest of my family ALOT! We have never been on a vacation where we are all not together, but I did enjoy my time alone with Danny and I know these times come more infrequently as time moves on.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANNY!

19 years...how did 19 years go by already since Danny was born? We were living in Diamond Bar, CA at the time and he was born at Kaiser Hospital in Fontana on July 7th 1990. He was a good baby that slept well and not much has changed since then...now he's a good teenager that sleeps well!
Danny has always been fun to be around, he loves to talk, remembers everything anyone has ever said, was teaching me how to use the computer when he was two, is a good big brother and had a great first year as a COUG!

We are so proud of Danny and the man he has grown into and look forward to what the future has in store for him.
We LOVE you Danny - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Another Super Spectacular 4th of July!

Once again we have had the best 4th of July weekend EVER! Family came for the weekend to soak up the sun, play on the water and thank you John and Debbie for another incredible firework show! This is the best part of living out in the county...you can shoot fireworks from your own backyard! We love to watch our neighbors fireworks and then love to try to outdo them! (I'm pretty sure we do!) Good times...

Drill Team, Shane Sparks and more...

These past 4 days McKenna has been in Bellevue, Washington at a Drill Team camp with most of her team-mates for team building, fun choreography, time away from mom and dad, but mostly for the chance to meet SHANE SPARKS! He's an amazing choreographer from "So You Think You Can Dance", "Dance Crew", and many more things. He was part of this camp for a short time for a Hip Hop Master Class, pep talk and autographs...and yes she did get the t-shirt with his autograph plus a picture (thank you Lori). She had a great time, learned things, hurt some things..but all in all loved it! We've missed her a LOT this summer with all her stuff that keeps her away, but I guess this is the whole point of them growing up...right?! The parents were invited the last day to come watch a showcase of their efforts and I have to say (no bias, really) our girls are GOOD! Several people came up to my friend Vickie and I (obviously noticing our beautifully rhinestoned "Molahiettes" sweatshirts...we know you are all jealous!) and commented on how well our girls have done. If that isn't justification for a 2 1/2 hour drive there and 2 1/2 hours back for the couple of minutes your child is on stage, I just don't know what would be! But I am a proud mama.

P.S. Thank you Peggy and Lori for letting me steal some of your pics!
